Natural hazards factsheets

The Center shares these seven factsheets to offer health practitioners accessible, evidence-informed summaries of the health impacts of natural hazards common to the Pacific Northwest — wildfire smoke, tsunamis, earthquakes, landslides, flooding and volcanoes — plus one on mental health effects across disasters.

Developed through a review of peer-reviewed and gray literature and refined by subject matter experts, these resources aim to support disaster planning and response. This work was supported by multiple federal research and public health grants.
